Introduction

Welcome to the website of Domaine de Pérenard. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this website.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1. Reservation: A booking is confirmed once an advance payment of 30 percent or the full amount of the rental price has been paid upon reservation and we have sent a booking confirmation to you via email.

The remaining amount, namely 70 percent of the rental amount, will have to be paid no later than two months before the start of the stay. In the event of a late reservation (less than two months before the start of the rental period), the rental amount has to be paid in full upon reservation.

1.2. Payment: Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bancontact, iDeal or other specified methods at the time of booking.

1.3. Non-Transferable: The agreement is only valid with the guest who has made the reservation and cannot be transferred to third parties, except with prior written agreement from us.

2. Duration of the Stay

2.1. If you have made a reservation on our website for a fixed period you cannot, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises after the end of your stay.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

3.1. Check-In: Check-in is between 17:00 and 19:00 hours (in July and August only on Saturdays).

3.2. Check-Out: Check-out is no later than 10:00 hours (in July and August only on Saturdays).

3.3. Late Arrival: If you anticipate arriving outside of the specified check-in hours, please inform us in advance.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1. Guest Cancellation: Cancellations must be made in writing by e-mailing us at contact@domainedeperenard.com.

Refunds will be issued based on the following schedule:

• Less than two months before arrival: no refund.

• More than two months before arrival: refund of 20 percent of the advance payment of the booking amount.

We encourage you to take out a cancellation insurance. 

4.2. No show: In case of no-show you are not entitled to any refund.

4.3. Shortened stay: In the event of a shortened stay, you are not entitled to any refund.

4.4. Number of occupants: No increase in the number of guests exceeding the indicated maximum ( = 10 people) is allowed.

4.5. Owner Cancellation: In the unlikely event that we must cancel the booking due to exceptional circumstances, we will notify you by email with acknowledgement of receipt. In that case all payments made by you to us will be immediately reimbursed.

5. Tourist Tax

5.1. Included: The tourist tax is included in the rental price.

6. Housekeeping

6.1. Cleaning During Stay: During the rental period, cleaning is your responsibility.

6.2. End-of-Stay Cleaning: The cleaning at the end of your stay is included in the rental price.

In all cases you undertake to:

• Put all the furniture back in order as it was found upon entering,

• Clean and store all kitchen equipment.

• Put all the trash in the available trash bins.

• Report any damage to equipment occurred during your stay.

7. Use of the Property

7.1. Occupancy: You are required to personally occupy the villa and to live in it “responsibly”.

7.2. Conduct: You must respect the peaceful nature of the villa and its surroundings and use them according to their intended purpose. The villa is strictly ‘non smoking’. However, ashtrays are available on demand, for outdoor use only.

7.3. Damage and Breakages: You agree to return the villa in good condition and you are responsible for any damage or breakages caused during your stay.

8. Pets

8.1. Pet Policy: In principle a maximum of 2 pets (dogs) are allowed in the villa.

Please contact us for prior agreement. You undertake to return the villa in an impeccable state of cleanliness, under no circumstances revealing the presence of a pet during your stay. No trace of hair, smell or pet waste should be perceptible at the time of return of the villa, including outside. Our responsibility for the end of stay cleaning does not relieve you of your responsibility for damage caused by your pet. Interior and exterior cleaning related to the presence of a pet is at all times your responsibility. Access to the swimming pool is of course strictly prohibited for pets.

9. Guest Responsibility and insurance

9.1. You are responsible for all damages caused by you and/or members of your household or group. You are expected to have a holiday rental insurance for these various risks.

10. Liability

10.1. Property Condition: We ensure that the villa is in good condition and that all facilities are functional. Any issues should be reported immediately to us.

10.2. Force Majeure: We are not liable for events outside our control, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other unforeseen circumstances that may affect your booking.

11. General Provisions

11.1. Amendments: These terms and conditions may be updated periodically. You are  advised to review them regularly.

11.2. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bergerac.

By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
